Even in today's high-tech world, traditional methods of model making
are valuable skills. I have often quickly sculpted a foam
mockup to express an idea much better than I could on paper.
Ergonomic mock-ups have proved to be a
valuable tool for getting real feedback from the real world. Realistic
appearance models communicate my design
projects in real space. A model is worth ten thousand words.
